00 Wines ‘VGW’ Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2019

12 months in barrel on the lees directly after being pressed. Finished in Stainless steel for 6 months on its fine lees. A very classic cool Willmatte Valley vintage with moderate growing season. 

Vineyards: Seven Springs, Open Claim, Unnamed Eola-Amity Hills Vineyard. 

As a classical cool Willamette Valley vintage, the 2019s showcase the acidity, lower alcohol, and freshness that our region is known for.

Crafted from Dijon clone fruit, the 2019 Chardonnay VGW gains richness with time in the glass, blossoming from salted almonds and stone to white flowers and citrus. The medium-bodied palate is sleek, tangy and youthfully linear with honeyed, nutty touches hinting at more to come, and it finishes with tremendous energy and mineral character.
