The 2021 Widow’s Peak is one of the most exciting Pinot Noir’s Widow’s Peak has made to date. It boasts a deep, almost purplish-red hue that immediately captures the eye, hinting at its richness. The aroma is vibrant, offering notes of raspberry, cherry, and cranberry, intertwined with a subtle spice blend of clove and five-spice. Despite its density, the wine’s supple texture reflects careful craftsmanship, effortlessly integrating the influence of 50% new French oak. Remarkably elegant, it stands out for its purity and freshness.
Tons of energy in this wine, hugely aromatic with purple fruit, plum jam, a bit of dark cocoa powder, sweet herb and tons of bright, focused flavors. Finishes with a touch of clove spice and even a bit of orange citrus.
