Pursued by Bear Cabernet Sauvignon has always been about quality. The 2018 is no exception. Layers of complex, deep red fruits with exceptional concentration combine with flavors of dark chocolate and hints of mint and vanilla. A luscious mouthfeel enhanced by supple, integrated tannins, developed in the 100% new Taransaud French oak barrels, harmonize elegantly with the exceptional fruit sourced from the best vineyards in Washington’s Columbia Valley.

This is a Washington project for actor Kyle MacLachlan, with fruit coming from some of the state’s top sites. The aromas bring notes of baking spice, char, cherry and dried herb. The palate is all about delicacy and sophistication, but there’s plenty of brawn beneath that. This is a thinking person’s Cabernet, with much to consider. Best after 2026. SEAN P. SULLIVAN
